Daffodil Bulbs for the South
Most daffodils grow well through Zone 7 and into Zone 8 in the southeastern U.S. The varieties below can perform satisfactorily through Zone 8 and into Zone 9, which includes much of what is called the Coastal South. We don’t recommend daffodils in southern Zones 9b, 10 or 11.
(Unsure of your Zone? You can find your Zone here.)
The daffodils below show an amazing tolerance for heat and humidity. They benefit from a light pine-straw mulch after planting and must be watered regularly (when rainfall is scarce) from early fall until the flowers fade.
